The Coffee Board of India is an autonomous body, functioning under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India to promote and provide insight to Growers, Traders and Consumers.
The coffee board need was a state of the art trading hall to provide free and fair trade between the growers and the traders. The AV needed to consist of surface mounted Microphones and FOH & ceiling mounted speakers. Traders could view close up picture of a product before the bid on the high resolution display. Participants can subsequently place there bits electronically from their desk and view the result of the bid on the large format display instantly.
The auction hall comprises of a large high resolution flat panel for display routed through a wide band switcher accepting signals from a variety of sources. Sensitive table mounted microphones were installed for sound reinforcement using (2) units of twin channel power amplifiers. (8) Ceiling mounted speakers were used for audio delivery.
