Project Collaboration Centre
Client

The client is a leading software services company with its clients based out of multiple locations in the globe.

Project Overview

The need was to build a real time Digital Class centre to have effective Data-Video-Voice and Control collaboration.Two sets of classrooms were built to accommodate (10) participants each and a local group leader to interact with the client team members at multiple far end locations. These teams could, during their session communicate, share data and take control of the far end participants PC with ease. This led to a marked reduction in travel and time cost.

Technology

The display consists of (4) 40” of plasma display panel’s mounted in it 2x2 array. A 60” plasma is mounted in the center of this array and facilitated with an interactive electronic overlay. The audio sources consists of 8 table top mounted goose neck microphones for the students and one podium based goose neck microphone for the local tutor. These microphones are routed through an advanced digital automatic mixer. The mixer will cut down the vibrations from the table and the hum noise from HVAC so that the participants and the tutors at the far end would get crystal clear audio. Similarly, the audio from the far end were routed through the twin channel amplifier and finally the output was from (8) ceiling mounted speakers. The training room also has a feature where the tutor would be able to monitor the screens of the students he would also be able to blank the students screen and take complete control of his presentation or progress locally or remotely from the far end.
